
Senior Director, Category Advisor
DESCRIPTION
This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days per week in the Rogers, AR office.
You will lead and develop team members to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful deliverables that support company, client, and customer goals. Key responsibilities include:
Fostering strong communication and relationships across associates, clients, and customers
Supporting team growth and retention through career development
Managing business tools and solutions to enable effective analysis
Identifying new opportunities for organizational improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create strategies and initiatives that drive positive business outcomes
RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote engagement through regular team meetings focused on collaboration and best practices.
Build and maintain strong communication with clients, customers, and internal teams.
Lead and support team operations using efficient business processes to deliver impactful results.
Develop and promote tools that support daily operations and opportunity analysis.
Collaborate cross-functionally to create strategies and initiatives that drive business success.
Assign and oversee projects to ensure timely, accurate completion.
Champion key organizational initiatives and participate in special projects as needed.
Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Work Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Certification or license required; Category Management Certification preferred
Equivalent work experience may substitute for education
5–8 years of relevant experience; 1–3 years in a management role
Skills & Abilities:
Strong knowledge of the CPG industry, including data tools and concepts
Proficient in MS Office and industry-specific tools
Effective leadership, project execution, and communication skills
Ability to set clear expectations, drive results, and remove obstacles
Skilled in tailoring communication to various audiences
Identifies and applies best practices to improve analytics and operations
Strong problem-solving and planning abilities with strategic foresight
Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
Delegates effectively to the support team development
Collaborates with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities
