Overview
The Retail Beauty Manager is responsible for increasing retail sales and brand awareness through strong presentations and education at the store level. This position will have a strong presence in stores and know how capitalize on opportunities that will grow the business. Focus will be on Beauty Consultant team recruitment, development, and retention, as well as the achievement of retail goals.

Essential Functions:
Responsible for Consistency of presentation and standards for multiple bands including Beauty, Skin Care, Hair, and Fragrances.
Analyzing individual stores: identify sales trends and opportunities by store.
Communicating specific stock opportunities to maximize volume potential.
Executing Seasonal event strategy and marketing calendars.
Training and developing Beauty Consultants to achieve retail sales goals, improve presentation standards, selling skills, and maximize retail sales opportunities.
Visit stores to review, train and recap to Director how business is progressing at the location.
Understanding of specific nature of each branch of service and know how to get things done in each.
Will oversee hiring for their team, processing payroll and all HR matters.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Some experience may be substituted for some of the education requirement.
Associate Degree is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Work Experience Requirements:
3 – 5 years of related experience.
3 – 5 years of supervisory/management experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
Strong communications skills. Communicate in a timely and professional manner.
Exceptional ability to multitask and prioritize; use of Outlook.
Proven and demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office and other data systems such as payroll, share point, etc.
Ability to travel at least 50% of the time; including air travel.
Overnight travel expected.
Some weekend work possible, schedule consideration will be made if this is the case.
Ability to stand 8 hours (with breaks). Ability to physically move and carry up to 20 pounds.
Thrive in a face-paced business environment where flexibility is a key characteristic.
Strong negotiation and presentations skills.
