Acosta Senior Manager, Salesforce Application (remote) in United States
Overview
The Salesforce Manager is a hands-on leader, responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce platform administration, development, and data quality. They are also responsible for ensuring that the configuration and related internal customer support serves the organization’s needs. The position is responsible to ensure that the applications on Salesforce platform meet the Architecture, design and development standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff and managed services teams to ensure that solutions fulfill customer requirements and are delivered in accordance to the established schedule. Also responsible for working with Business leaders to lead the roadmap for the platform and collaborate on delivery of the aligned roadmap.
This is a remote position, work from home anywhere in the United States.

Essential Functions:
Leads support and development team members through hiring, performance appraisals, pay rate reviews, delegating, promoting, coaching, counseling, and terminating as needed.
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, mentors, coaches and monitors progress of the team.
Ensure all applications comply with standards, are documented, and properly tested to maintain data integrity. Complete regular internal system audits and action on risks and issues.
Responsibilities include, among others, managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures
Gathers and reviews business systems and user requirements.
Manage and deliver features and/or components that identify, design, and implement capabilities for business solutions.
Keeps abreast of Salesforce features and functionality, providing recommendations and lead the implementation for process improvements
Responsible for the Production and operational support of Salesforce Applications; Maintain SLA; Manage tickets and issues; escalate as appropriate
Acts as subject matter expert in the discovery and remedy of production issues.
Lead and/or Contribute to the development and cultivation of business and vendor relationships
Display leadership and business judgment by anticipating business and project needs and developing alternative solutions; lead the solution design with business stakeholders
Strong leadership and relationship building skills to form strong ties with various business units
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor’s Degree
Work Experience Requirements:
3+ years sales/consumer service experience in a retail environment, preferably for hi-tech /consumer electronics
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
Experience in Salesforce Cloud Solutions, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity.
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality. Programming Languages – APEX, Visual
Force, Familiarity with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE
Solid understanding of software development life cycle and release management.
Experience managing full lifecycle projects.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and managelaterally and upwards.
Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to data management (privacy, data transfer and retention, etc.)
Must be able to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions and provide conclusions or approaches to the job.
A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
Experience working with Jira - preferred
