Description and Requirements
As an Associate Regional Supervisor, you assist the Regional Manager to lead, coach, recruit, and develop a remote team of Representatives that drive sales, increase category share, increase brand awareness, and influence market share and mindshare for the client in a tactical environment. You'll serve as the primary, dedicated, expert for each team member's successful performance in client service and retention. You'll act as a liaison between the field team and management by overseeing day-to-day activities with deliverables, promotions, and other processes or assignments. You'll oversee the management of region, territory, and budgets while using rigid ethical considerations to guide decisions and act in accordance with company values.

What will you do?
Build and maintain long-term trusting relationships with internal and client management teams.
Evaluate, recommend, customize and implement all operational 'best practices' that support, promote, or enhance business direction and desired outcomes.
Create a culture of performance excellence that attracts and retains top talent. Plan, manage, lead, and document team performance discussions to ensure direct reports are on track with goals, competency development, and overall accountability in performance management.
Provide routine market intelligence (feedback) on current retail market conditions and/or opportunities that may affect sales or category share of the product.
Collect and report information on competitive product and service offerings to management.
Communicate via assigned methods (verbal, written, formal presentation) to management all assigned reports on position and/or team activities by assigned due dates.
Analyze sales and market/territory data used to provide consultation and/or connection for underperforming markets.
Identifies growth opportunities for client sales and marketing initiatives.
Communicate competitive products, market trends, and pertinent technologies to internal and/or client management.
Analyze and regularly report on market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Engage in strategic, and operational planning for assigned regions, and ensure compliance with all corporate goals, strategies, sales, category share, and dashboards/KPIs for the region.
Maintain awareness of all issues that arise from staff, client, or Retail Sales Personnel. Follow through with action plan timely and consistently in collaboration with management and/or Human Resources.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Account Managers, and other client partners on program success.
Educate team on unique market channels to effectively position retail sales personnel in each market and chain/store to drive in-store sales of client products.
Ensure the team meets productivity and performance requirements. Assist team to overcome challenges regarding reaching metrics and other performance issues.
Comply with contract and regional budget. Consistently strive for value-added services and/or cost savings.
Meet regularly with Retail Sales Personnel in FMR stores to ensure excellent customer service and ensure that client expectations are being met.
Recruit, interview, and hire FMRs and/or other team members. Ensure all candidates are interviewed in a professional manner and on a timely basis, maintaining staffing levels consistent with contractual obligations.
Provide detailed on-boarding, orientation, and termination information to team members, in collaboration withs Corporate management and Human Resources.
Ensure team members receive all necessary product and technology training to achieve expected proficiency levels.
Maintain smooth, effective work relationships at all levels. Promote a winning, team-based culture of inclusion.

Experience and Qualifications
Undergraduate Bachelor's Degree preferred with an emphasis in Business or Marketing desired.
Minimum one-year management experience in retail, retail operations, retail distribution, merchandising, sales, marketing, and service organizations required.
Account/Client Management experience is desirable.
Must have an understanding of retail field programs with shared and/or dedicated resources.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, MapPoint, and PowerPoint.
Possess extensive use of proprietary systems that track sales, expenses, etc.
Significant understanding of remote business tools such as smartphones, tablets, and/or laptop use, including troubleshooting issues with connectivity.
Internal vendor and/or client certification as assigned.
Must present a valid driver's license in the province of residence. Proof of insurance is required.
Remote home office environment with travel up to 80% to corporate offices, regional offices, client and/or vendor offices, training or convention venues, and retail establishments. International travel is required.
Must have and maintain sufficient strength, ability, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental, and emotional) situations encountered on the job without compromising your health and well-being or that of your fellow employees or clients.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear.
Must be able to lift and transport objects such as computer laptops and peripherals. Applicable physical activities involved with local or long-distance travel.
