Acosta Sales & Marketing Director, Client Success in United States, United States

Overview

We are seeking a Client Success Director who will serve as the primary point of contact to Acosta clients during the post contract execution phase. The director will be focused primarily on retaining and growing their business while providing them with an exceptional experience. This position will onboard, train and partner with the key account managers, field account managers to coordinate a strategic and creative development plan, media plans and tactical execution (may include merchandising and other retail objectives) for client’s brand(s) as they relate to consumer marketing efforts

Essential Functions:

  • Relationship management with assigned client list through managing on-boarding, implementation, training & ongoing account management services delivered with high levels of customer satisfaction. An acute understanding of assigned customer’s strategies, operations & best practices will be needed to deliver on customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare and manage ongoing reporting for clients. When needed, secure consumer research and category analysis to support or validate marketing plans. This may include analysis of spending versus incremental sales volume, client scorecards, category, brand and account information, syndicated data reports.

  • Leverage relationship to identify additional service needs / contract expansion opportunities & leverage sales counterparts to assist in completion.

  • Capture and manage customer information via Salesforce (our CRM system).

  • Track and communicate client status, project status, plans, issues, timelines, and action plans in an organized and timely manner to business development leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5-8 years relevant work experience

  • Salesforce experience

  • Training experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Stellar presentation skills and ability to engage and lead client meetings with senior stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams internally.

  • Broker, manufacturer, advertising agency, and promotional agency understanding of roles and functions.

  • Thorough understanding of category management and core advertising and marketing functions; creative developments, brand management, media buying, post-promotional analysis, financial ramifications

  • Highly developed Project Management skills, experience managing multiple clients simultaneously.

  • Self-motivated; self-starter; coachable and strong management ability.

  • Assertive, creative, team player and proven sense of urgency.
