Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership and support for the team by leveraging business processes to ensure efficient operation of the organization, while providing deliverables that support positive results for our client(s) and customer(s).

  • Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate , and develop associates to increase knowledge, skills, and quality of outputs.

  • Foster associate engagement with regular team meetings to drive connectivity, discuss responsibilities, encourage best practice sharing, etc.

  • Build, maintain, facilitate positive relationships and open communication with client(s), customer(s), and other Acosta associates.

  • Create, maintain, disseminate , and/or generate excitement for tools to facilitate everyday business management and opportunity analysis across team(s) to support client(s) and/or customer(s) objectives.

  • Work with cross functional teams to develop relevant processes, strategies, initiatives to drive positive results for Acosta, client(s), and/or customer(s) business.

  • Responsible for managing towards revenue goals , identifying new business opportunities, closing gaps.


Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor’s Degree ( preferred )

  • Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement

  • Category Management Certification Preferred

Work ExperienceRequirements:

  • 5 – 8 years related work experience

  • 1 – 3 years management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Possess a solid working knowledge of the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, with a strength in the area responsible for managing (including data sources, tools, concepts, etc.). Must be proficient in industry tools utilized by assigned teams and MS Office tools.

  • Lead others in the execution of projects and initiatives, clearly communicating goals/expectations, assigning tasks to others, and setting effective measures of results.

  • Establish and communicate clear expectations for self and team, with a drive for results while anticipating and removing obstacles to plan.

  • Customize and adapt communication and discussion to appeal to the specific interests, needs, and level of the audience.

  • Identify best practices and opportunities to utilize and advance the organization in the execution of analytic deliverables

  • Analyze complex issues , build a plan to resolve, including contingencies, and lead the team in the execution of resolution.

  • Effectively delegate based on situationand skill level , with a focus on development opportunities for others.

  • Build strategic objectives with senior leadership identifying areas of growth in specific areas of responsibility.
