Acosta Sales & Marketing Senior Category Space Analyst - WM* in Rogers, Arkansas

Overview

This position will be the owner of a defined category or department for the drawing and maintaining of modulars in the Wal-Mart relay process. You will be working with the Wal-Mart buying team to build and maintain the most efficient and effective modulars based on the financial goals and data available.

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for the buyers for any and all questions associated to their modular responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to provide for space planning and section merchandising on the assigned categories at Wal-Mart

  • Manage the building of all versions of base modulars during the relay process

  • Grow Wal-Mart sales by identifying any assortment opportunities across DC's and specific modulars

  • Identify any category space opportunities via all available data sources

  • Advanced analysis of data via all available sources

  • Develop as a leader in terms of training and knowledge to the internal Acosta team

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in JDA (Space planning), Windows, Excel, and related software applications

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to communicate effectively and present a professional image

  • Must have multiple years of experience in the Wal-Mart relay process, drawing modulars and working through the entire relay process

  • Grow Wal-Mart sales by identifying any assortment opportunities across DC's and specific modulars

  • Must have a certain level of expertise in JDA and retail link

  • Previous experience with IRI/Nielsen, HH Panel, Spectra and Market Track is preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of space technology software and understanding of CPG retail functions is required

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and strong organizational skills is preferred

  • Must be a self-starter and be willing to take ownership in your responsibilities and as well as your career path.
