Acosta Sales & Marketing Insights Data Analyst (PowerBI) in Rogers, Arkansas


This is a work from home position, open to anywhere in the United States .

You will be responsible for assisting the Insight Team with report creation, maintenance, and development of Insights for the company and client. Additional support will be offered via a variety of methodologies. You must possess advanced critical thinking and time management skills. Must be adaptable, and able to quickly learn new systems and process.


Essential Functions:

  • Advanced Analytics on a variety of Internal, Retailer, and Syndicated Data

  • Insight Report creation and maintenance

  • Internal systems maintenance

  • Support insight team with day-to-day procedures

  • Support field and client teams

  • Support business growth in an ever-changing environment

  • Other duties as assigned


Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Math/Science/Business preferred.

  • Vocational or technical training in retail analysis or insight analysis preferred.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint)

  • Proficiency with Data Visualization and Analytics Programs such as Power BI

  • Must be able to use logic and reasoning to diagnose issues and form creative solutions.

  • Must be able to manage workload, multitask, and meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

  • Proactively seek better ways of working to improve the team’s productivity and efficiency.

  • Ensures communication to/with the client is always timely, efficient, and accurate.

  • Demonstrates confidence and forward-thinking to proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest new procedures.

  • Ability to take on all aspects of role and own it, reacting positively to changes in the workplace as they occur.
