Acosta Compensation Analyst II in REMOTE, United States

Overview

The Compensation Analyst II supports the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. The incumbent prepares analysis and provides analytical support for various compensation activities and programs. The analyst assists in interpreting internal and external data to ensure Acosta’s desired position in the market and overall compensation objectives are achieved, including the ability to attract, retain and promote talent.

Essential Functions:

  • Review the classification of jobs through job evaluations and calibration across the enterprise to align with career progression and job families.

  • Create job descriptions and maintain the job description library.

  • Prepare detailed analysis on comp related items such as pay data; market pay and internal pay practices. Complete salary surveys.

  • Assist in providing guidance and education to HR Business Partners on all compensation matters to include but not limited to base pay, annual merit, annual bonus, and other awards.

  • Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of incentive/bonus plans.

  • Solve a range of straightforward compensation issues and support all members of the compensation team as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.

  • CCP Preferred.

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience in broad-based Compensation administration and analysis

  • Knowledge of market pricing, job evaluation tools and techniques and salary administration.

  • Qualitative and analytical skills including manipulating data, querying, and reporting required. Includes ability to analyze and research compensation trends and partner with appropriate internal and external resources.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups and other advanced functions). Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Highly detailed driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture, provide insights and recommendations

  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
