We are currently looking for the position of District Manager to join our innovative, growing company.

The District Manager will work closely with the National Field Manager and communicate regularly regarding reporting and tracking performance metrics to goal. In addition you will be responsible for expense control and adherence to all company policies.

This position will work from a home office and will require flexibility to travel between 50% and 75% within your district to conduct field visits and on occasion visit the client/Mosaic headquarters or meet with retailers.

The District Manager will :

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Field Specialists in their assigned district who provide on-going merchandising and brand ambassador services for our client.

  • Will also be responsible for final interviewing and hiring of your team, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling and execution of visits, completion of all reports and overall performance to goal.

  • Proven ability to adapt to changing business environment while proactively ensuring field organization meets or exceeds client expectations - burning desire to be the best!

  • Develop strong rapport with field specialists and store management through consistent and professional communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • District Manager will serve as the main point of contact for the Field Specialists in their assigned district who provide on-going merchandising and brand ambassador services for our client

  • Will also be responsible for final interviewing and hiring of your team, managing all aspects of their training, scheduling and execution of visits, completion of all reports and overall performance to goal

  • Manage rep performance and implement improvement strategies as needed (field visits, performance improvements, rep scorecards, etc.)

  • Manage rep compliance and time card approval

  • Manage ongoing rep training and improvement

  • Reporting to management: Field insights & challenges

  • Communicate program changes/updates to the field

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • 4 to 5 years’ prior management experience in retail, merchandising, training, and/or field marketing, experience may be substituted for some of the above education

  • Previous interviewing, hiring, training, and onboarding experience preferred

  • Strong computer skills utilizing the internet, email and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in retail management or 3PL labor management

  • Home office space with broadband Internet connectivity required

  • All employees that are required to use their personal vehicle for business purposes are required to provide Mosaic/Acosta a copy of their insurance policy.

  • Natural ability to lead a team in a manner that will build team morale and accomplish objectives

  • Ability to achieve all established success metrics as outlined by the program for your district

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly communicate information to a group or individual

  • Ability to analyze challenges and opportunities in the field and communicate an effective plan to address

  • Proven ability to adapt to changing business environment while proactively ensuring field organization meets or exceeds client expectations - burning desire to be the best!

  • Apprise supervisor of field issues on daily basis such as "red flag" issues, rep fall out and program issues using solution driven communication

  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision, while exercising ethical and professional business practices

  • Maintain reporting inclusive of the following: scheduling, field specialist performance, coaching and follow-up

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to schedule tasks and people in order to meet program goals

  • Attention to detail, adaptability to changing dynamics and ability to multi-task are essential qualities

  • Ability to interact with others, inclusive of training, mentoring, and coaching on an individual basis or in a group setting

  • Participate in weekly team conference calls and weekly calls with Regional Field Manager

  • Willingness to travel within and outside your territory when required
