Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Provide space management and section merchandising on the assigned categories at the assigned customers, including analysis of financial data at both the account and market level
Participate in the development and maintenance of client-specific reporting that measures performance against strategies and objectives.
Developing andinsuringthat planograms meet both the Customer’s and Client’s visual standards, all the while increasing space for brands represented by Acosta based on sales performance
Work effectively with cross functional teams to discuss client needs, upcoming projects and develop category reviews
Responsible for quality control of data sources and ensuring accuracy of deliverables, often requiring engagement with other BI associates and data/tool vendors
Perform user-acceptance-testing for space management tools
Manages the extraction of syndicated data to be incorporated into SM tools supporting categories and customers
Assists in training of internal and external clients in the use of Space Management tools
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or industry level knowledge with 3 – 5 years experience utilizingApollo, Spaceman, or JDA Space Management Software
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel, PowerPoint, VB, advanced macros
Clearly and concisely communicate relevant information and present to clients and customers (both internal and external)
Self starter; identify and leverage relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions
Effectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and strong organizational skills is preferred
