ActionLink has a part-time side-hustle opportunity for someone to join our Home Entertainment Promoter Team! We are seeking an engaging, tech-savvy individual to join our sales team who will thrive on creating a world-class service environment inside a local Best Buy Home Theater Department. This dedicated sales consultant will showcase and demonstrate the latest innovations in home cinema entertainment by representing our multinational client, Sony®, and their premier line of televisions, sound bars, and home theater accessories.
Our Sony Home Theater Sales Expert plays a key role in promoting the Sony brand by understanding the type of usage and needs of store customers, answering their questions, comparing various model specs & features, and offering personalized recommendations for solution-based electronic purchases. The Sony Expert also engages with other Best Buy sales associates through periodic knowledge sharing and training efforts, ensuring that our retail partners are fully aware of Sony's product offerings.
It’s our goal and commitment to help make consumer technology purchases easier, more personalized, and more informative for the customer while also boosting brand awareness during peak weekend selling hours.

WHEN WILL YOU WORK?
20 hours per week
Fridays: 2:00pm - 7:00pm; Saturdays & Sundays: 12:00am - 8:00pm

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Build strong relationships and rapport with Best Buy customers and personnel
Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate Sony home theater products and accessories
Proactively overcome objections and close the sale to drive profitable growth and achieve individual sales goals
Provide trainings to store staff on the various Sony offerings
Ensure that products are properly merchandised, displayed, and functional
Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback, observations, and submitting customer and store photos
Maintain business communication with District Manager via occasional phone calls, web meetings, emails, and/or texts
ARE YOU A MATCH?
This role requires that you are either fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or willing to complete weekly COVID-19 testing (may be at employee expense). Upon an offer of employment, proof of vaccination or agreement to be tested weekly must be submitted as part of the onboarding process.
Previous sales, retail, and/or direct customer support experience
Enthusiasm for electronics and understanding of television terminology (e.g., OLED, 4K, Full HD, aspect ratio, pixels, etc.)
Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
Willing to be held accountable for meeting certain sales targets
Access to reliable transportation to commute to local Costco store
Available to work required Friday through Sunday shifts
Access to a smart device for reporting
