
Vice President, Operations & Enterprise Application Support- Hybrid
DESCRIPTION
The Vice President of Operations & Application Support provides strategic and operational leadership for a multi-functional team and external suppliers, with full accountability for delivering business and IT capabilities across enterprise applications. This includes systems supporting Finance, HR, Communications, and other tools leveraged throughout the organization.
Success in this role is defined by the effective delivery and ongoing support of ERP and other enterprise applications, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction, technical reliability, and operational efficiency.
This position oversees the day-to-day delivery of Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) services for Acosta IT and its business stakeholders. The VP owns the AMS service catalog and is responsible for driving continuous performance improvements across in-scope applications in a cost-effective manner, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations across IT, business units, and stakeholders.
**Ideal candidates will be *commutable* to an Acosta Group office in Jacksonville, FL; Lewisville (Dallas), TX; other market.
*Hybrid Arrangement is defined as 3/2 (days in Office to days with Remote eligibility).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions of This Position
Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams and supplier partners in delivering ERP solutions and related capabilities to the business
Manage stakeholder engagement , ensuring timely and informed decision-making throughout project lifecycles
Oversee the budget for enterprise application delivery, including guidance on cost allocation and chargebacks for business-driven solutions
Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-impacting solutions such as contract management tools, procurement systems, SharePoint solutions, and internal recognition platforms
Ensure supplier accountability by clearly defining expectations and monitoring performance
Promote and apply product-centric best practices where applicable
Direct project managers in managing scope, schedules, resources, and costs across initiatives
Contribute to cross-program efforts that leverage the tools and expertise within the Enterprise Applications team
Lead the Enterprise Application Steering Committee , collaborating with leaders from Finance, HR, and other departments
Fulfill physical requirements as outlined below

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field
Ten (10) or more years of experience in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Tech service management, or business process management (a combination of education, training, and experience may be considered)
Prior experience in Finance and HR domains , including ERP systems development, deployment, or operations
Oracle Cloud ERP, UKG - Time & Attendance + Payroll is strongly desirable
Strong background in IT program and project management
Proven ability to lead Application Maintenance and Support functions
In-depth knowledge of key technologies, development methodologies, and service management practices used at Acosta
Expertise in enterprise-level IT system integration and a solid understanding of information architecture
Demonstrated leadership skills , with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders effectively
Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with business partners and suppliers; adept at navigating technical, business, and cultural dynamics
Results-driven and proactive, with a steadfast focus on outcomes and continuous improvement
Experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred
Commitment to a collaborative, team-oriented environment , including support for internal mobility and role transitions
Proven ability to drive policy, process, and behavioral improvements across teams
Business-savvy, with a clear understanding of contractual obligations and deliverables
Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, conflict resolution, negotiation, and customer relationship management
Tools : Oracle Cloud ERP; UKG (Time & Attendance + Payroll)
