We are currently looking for a Business Development Rep. to join our innovative, growing company.
The Rep, Business Development will be an independent team player very organized and detail oriented, focusing on Sales and Marketing within a dedicated market.
The Business Development Rep. will:
Focus on Sales and Marketing (75% sales focus) – open and secure new services in 75+ accounts
Responsible for targeting approximately 125 – 200 accounts (estimate)
Account planning, relationship building and problem solving
Learn, develop and enhance the on premise initiatives of the client in market
Aligned with Regional and local sales teams and assigned account to execute the role which will positively impact the purchasing and brand recognition among consumers
Other duties as assigned.
One to three years’ experience with knowledge of specific products and associated development process and strategy
Hospitality industry experience a plus with Beverage Category - alcohol/beer (craft beer a plus)
Resourcefulness to improvise and creatively solve problems
Must possess a Vehicle in good working condition and clean driving record
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must have a smartphone (iOS or Android)
Must have access to a computer with MS Office, a printer, internet
Knowledge of processes, tools, techniques and theory behind selling the organization's products or services
Knowledge of and ability to utilize customer profile and information
Ability to communicate with customers at all level
Knowledge of and ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling organization's products and services
Ability to be an Independent Team Player, fast learner, detail oriented, attentive, organized and out-going
Experienced in uncovering opportunity, brand positioning, influencing purchaser
Knowledge of the local market and surrounding areas (no overnight travel)
Ability to take direction while adding knowledge gained in the field
Ability to be a strong team player with passion and dedication to the Client’s brands
Must be self-starter; be punctual, and reliable in regard to responsibilities
Ability to utilize a table, smart phone software or apps to report all findings in Market
Must have a valid driver’s license
This position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing, and as such, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 months will be an immediate disqualifier for this position
