This position is on-site at the Jacksonville, Fl office
The Operations Project Manager I (OPM) will be devoted to supporting all fulfillment projects and will oversee project workflow and all related deliverables. The OPM I, manages up to $5 Million’s worth of business and works with the Operations team and other Project Managers to ensure accurate and timely execution.
The Operations Project Manager I (OPM) will manage the day-to-day tasks, often giving guidance to other Operations team members to effectively execute projects.
OPM will review all Fulfillment projects and ensure all elements including supplies and timelines are received and on track.
The OPM will quote fulfillment projects and manage logistics as needed.
Works with Operations Mangers daily to update and maintain the production schedule.
Meets weekly with the Operations Team and Project Mangers to review project needs and to provide project status updates.
Works with Operations Managers and Project Managers to ensure all project budgets are in line and invoiced on time.
Manage supply chain direction as needed while working with the Operation Team and Purchasing team.
Manage RFP process on more complex customer requests.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirement (i.e. 5 yrs category mgmt or 3 yrs food brokerage):
3+ years’ experience in operations preferably working with a quoting and with warehouse management system. Previous Project Management experience preferred.
1+ years’ supervisor / management experience motivating, delegating others preferred.
Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
Proven experience in data reporting and analysis is preferred.
Proven experience assisting in planning, monitoring and managing functional area department budget.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. “plan-a-gram” software expertise, presentation skills):
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and prioritization of tasks.
Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with other team members and clients.
Excellent judgment, effective problem-resolution skills, with the ability to balance multiple demands.
Possess an advanced understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office products, primarily. Microsoft Excel, Power-Point, Word, and Outlook.
