Acosta New Business Development Manager in *Jacksonville, Florida


This position must be filled in Jacksonville, Fl

The New Business Development Manager will sell the company’s complete product and service offering to its mid-high level and strategic prospects / clients. They will need to manage some existing business with clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new opportunities for organic sales while seeking new business opportunities and clients. The NBD will be responsible for selling products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with new prospects and /or existing clients while recommending solutions.

The NBD is responsible for achieving $3MM - $5MM in sales annually.


Essential Functions:

  • Maintains and manages the relationships and portfolio with existing / new clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching, and recommending new opportunities

  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and /or given existing clients; recommending solutions

  • Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors

  • Set up meetings with potential clients

  • Prepare and presents presentations on products / services to existing and potential new clients

  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Up to 30% Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Relationship management skills and open to feedback. Possess an advanced understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office products, primarily Microsoft Excel,

  • Power-Point, Word, and Outlook.

  • Highly motivated and goal oriented
