Description
We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our innovative, growing company.
The goal of the Financial Analyst is to support the client service team with day to day operational needs which allows the Finance Manager to focus on managing and growing the business.
Operations
Provides training and support to client service team on Marketing Operation/Financial Planning Strategy
Drives business forward by ensuring client service team is following processes and protocols and meeting deadlines in order for the Marketing Operations Finance Manager to meet all month end financial deadlines -Deadlines: re-classes, staff allocations, full time field staff payroll
Supports team with audits and special projects
Ability to understand the various client external requirements with a high rate of change (i.e. AB, Kraft and Nestle Presence Marketing) require reconciliation at the close of a project
Receipt tracking and management/Ensuring the right individuals are being compliant and keeping all receipts for Auditing purposes
Manages invoice fulfillment needs for multiple clients and disciplines with different net payment terms and various invoice submissions
Owns compliance piece of all SOW & PO terms in order to get paid promptly
Responsible for navigating, analyzing, and report out of invoice tracker to each CBU and client team lead to ensure transparency and updates on the current cash flow status of their programs
Subject matter expert on client portals to follow up on payment and P.O’s if necessary (i.e. Ariba, PEP Portal, Bud Exchange).
AR & WIP Management
Communicates weekly AR reports to each client service lead to follow up on outstanding invoices
Manage all the cash receipts from Acosta (Joyce) and answer any questions they might have on outstanding items
Client Service & Relationships
Building relationships with the Account Coordinators, Junior Account Managers and Account Managers in order to help them manage their programs and clients efficiently and under compliance
Partners and aligns CST to the appropriate resources to execute business deliverables (i.e., procurement, buyers, and internal operations).
Team Leadership & Development
Marketing Operations Finance lead for training new CST members on department structure, budget tracker and budget tool to usage, MOF best practices, reconciliation, spend to date etc.
Performs Project manager duties to ensure all CST members are kept up to date with processes, protocols and financial deadlines
Manages up to two Marketing Operations coordinators based on business growth.
Fiscal Management / Analysis
Creates & Updates budget trackers
Troubleshoots questions or issues with the tracker from leadership team
Monitors the progress of projects and ensuring they are closed out in a timely manner
Takes an analytical view of all current processes and reporting and creating efficiencies across all functions above
Performs Adhoc analysis
Creates reports and presentation content to support MO Director and MO VP as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience Requirement:
Bachelors in Finance, Marketing, or Business Management with 3 years’ experience, some experience may be substituted for education
3 plus years supervisor / management experience a plus
Experience providing training and support to client service team on Marketing Operation / Financial Planning Strategy
Experience managing invoice fulfillment needs for multiple clients and disciplines with different net payment terms and various invoice submissions
Experience communication with internal and external clients
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements (i.e. “plan-a-gram” software expertise, presentation skills):
Balanced with confidence and being self-aware of how to approach different types of audiences
Ability to be very detail oriented
Ability to apply and understand how Mosaic’s various department work in order to provide value and direction to CST
Takes initiative and breaks through existing boundaries using innovation, adaptability and collaboration
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Ability to work with different personalities and manage various leaders expectations
Ability to work independently and on a team as needed
Ability to seek out solutions and troubleshoot independently
Ability to travel 50% of time
