Acosta Sales & Marketing Customer Service Coordinator in Isaquah, Washington
The Sales Support Representative (SSR) is an entry level position which is focused on providing support to the Business Managers and Associate Business Managers.
The SSR must have at least two years of work experience, international shipping experience and a college degree is a plus. In addition, the SSR must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have good follow through, possess critical thinking aptitude, be well organized, detail oriented, successfully work on several projects at the same time, and have demonstrated initiative. Bi-lingual skills including Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin Chinese are a plus.
SSRs will work closely with Pacific Rim Region Business Managers (BMs), Associate Business Managers (ABMs) and Costco International personnel on a regular basis. This position is a go-to position for the BM/ABM staff so the job responsibilities may change depending on specific circumstances as the business continues to evolve. Experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
Administrative Support & Order Processing
Manage logistics and distribution for vendors shipping direct to Pacific Rim countries including Taiwan, Australia, Japan, & Korea,
Process daily purchase orders verifying for accuracy
Communication with buying staff regarding purchase order, invoicing and export documentation changes and updates.
Export container booking management
Manage promotional activity for suppliers
Work with freight forwarders and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
Create and manage buy documents with updated pricing
Track and manage proper certifying documents (organic, health, etc.) as needed to address trade restrictions
Key purchase orders into system for timely payment
Assist Business Managers in following up on documentation requested for selling
Proactively assist buying staff in manager’s absence
Sample management (send & receive)
Prepare and execute product cuttings
General help wherever needed to assist Business Manager group and back-up other Sales Support Reps.
Initiate and manage special projects as they occur
Support our programs and maximize sales by understanding Costco objectives, resolving any daily issues that arise, and building relationships
Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Customer’s operation and key competitors
Protect customer and vendor’s confidential and proprietary information
Quality issues management
Organize/Maintain Computer and Paper File Systems
Maintain complete files of orders
Manage filing system for communication with vendors, buyers, orders, ADW personnel, etc.
Maintain updated files for all active item spec sheets/pricing forms
All files/buy docs/pricing must be readily accessible
Maintain a back-up process sheet for those times when you are out of the office
Maintain a file of product quality issues
Minimize/prevent deductions with attention to order accuracy and confirmation
Review findings with Business Manager
High School diploma or GED required.
Associates Degree preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years previous sales support, customer service, or office administrative experience required.
A minimum of one (1) year previous food broker experience preferred.
Critical thinking skills; attention to detail; strong organizational skills
Must have strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills, and be able to effectively communicate with others.
Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, copier.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proficiency in data/order entry and software and Becton system required.
Must have internet access and an email address available.
