Acosta Sales & Marketing Administrative Manager in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Overview

This position is open to EDT, CDT, MDT locations.

The Retail Center of Excellence team provides cross functional support, training, and guidance for multiple retail systems with interdependencies that are critical to maintain daily operations across the organization.

You will play a key role in governing the synergies between systems, business teams and retail operations. As a strong mentor with clear agility to motivate and instill accountability you will be a trusted advisor to business stakeholders. This role fosters a creative mindset to resolve issues and translate business objective requirements into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate productivity and compliance for your team each week. Evaluate your scorecard weekly and make adjustments accordingly;

  • Connect with the Market Leads and Channels monthly to ensure the COE is delivering their expectations;

  • Provide thought leadership to your team, markets and channels;

  • Responsible for managing the performance of the team and accountable for hiring, firing, promotion, rewards, etc. Provide continued training, direction, and support to ensure your teams abilities and skills sets meet the minimum expectations set by the COE;

  • Provide support and leadership when conflict issues arise at any level of the team, market, or channel;

  • Collaborate with internal and external to be innovative and creative to find more efficient ways to deliver a better product;

  • Report to the COE VP as to the overall status/progress of COE services within your assigned region.

  • Attend appropriate client sales meetings and local market meetings as needed; and

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of consumer packaged goods experience, including essential account management.

  • Sales, Marketing, Merchandising and Administration experience required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

  • Advanced NARS, DMS, APL, MDM, and Retail iQ system functions;

  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

  • Thought leadership Skills;

  • Conflict management Skills;

  • Communication and follow up skills; Motivational and influential skills;

  • Negotiation Skills;

  • Presentation Skills

  • Delegation skills

Colorado Specific Payrate: $45,000 - $50,000
