Overview

The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and building our Product Marketing practice. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for providing our commercial teams with world class sales materials that enables them to clearly communicate the unique value that Acosta offers. This includes development of compelling & influential sales materials, like PowerPoint presentations, demos, etc.

The Product Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the development of engaging marketing programs that builds awareness of Acosta at Trade Shows, in Trade Publications, and through online communications.

Responsibilities

  • The Product Marketing Mgr. will develop comprehensive marketing plans for sales & marketing teams

  • Work closely with the Product Team to develop compelling & influential sales materials

  • Assesses, analyze and monitor market competition

  • Develops deep connections with industry leaders to ensure Acosta gains exposure in trade publications and trade events

  • Lead programs to generate buzz ahead of new product launches

  • Assist Product Managers in understanding market needs

  • Define and implement clear product positioning, pricing, and messaging for products.

  • Keep up-to-date on new developments and trends to understand customer and market needs for products

  • Work with product team to develop and manage financial models for products

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • 2+ years of domain knowledge; either broker, retailer or manufacturer

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience

  • 1+ years’ supervisory / management experience a plus

  • Proven history of creating compelling marketing programs with comprehensive understanding of the marketing and product planning process

  • Proven strong strategic planning and tactical implementation experience in marketing across various outlets including web-based, traditional, multi-media, etc.

  • Experience with developing and executing product launch strategies and tactics

  • Experience champions a clear channel of communication and coordination between all functional areas impacting operations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen and assess customer needs, translating those stated customer requests into need statements, prioritize needs/requirements, and communicate them cross-functionally

  • Strong relationship building skills to constructively foster relationships internally and externally, including key opinion leaders

  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills

  • Ability to be action orientated

  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to travel 30% of the time.
