Direct Creative Operations:Direct all creative operations, including marketing and design teams to address client briefs as well as infuse forward-thinking campaign ideas. Create and manage creative strategies to help improve Agency’s points of difference and maintain company image.
Team Management & Development:Ensure team structure meets the clients and Agency needs and advances professional development of team to be industry leaders.
Create and Approve Marketing Campaigns:Creation of brand strategy, solving brand challenges through creative solutions across multiple marketing disciplines, oversight of new marketing campaign development and sell in to Clients.
Network & Develop Client and Industry Relationships:Through normal course of business, attending industry events and being a thought leader develop and foster ongoing relationships that are authentic to themselves, the agency and client.
Manage Creative Department Budget:Set and manage budget and performance KPIs.
Set and Track Department Goals:Create and properly track performance for the overall creative department and report on the overall performance of the marketing and design teams.
Understanding of customer experience
Knowledge of marketing trends
Creativity and authenticity
Relationship builder within the organization, clients and partners
Strong communication and presentation skills for effectively speaking with clients to learn their requirements for the products and with the designers to explain their visions
Knowledge and experience with experiential marketing, shopper marketing, content is beneficial
Tools of the Trade:
Presentation software (Keynote, PowerPoint)
Microsoft Office Suite
10+ years of experience with a proven track record of market saturation and growth while continuing to grow current customer relationships
5 - 8 years of supervisory / management experience with the ability to develop talent and mentor sub-ordinance into future leaders
Experience setting direction and vision for major departments with the ability to prioritize, develop policies and allocate resources
Proven experience planning, monitoring and managing a budget
Experience champions a clear channel of communication and coordination between all functional areas impacting operations.
Experience with brand promotion development.
Experience working with creative departments and talent for art direction.
