Account Supervisor: Client Engagement

The Account Supervisor serves as a strategic practitioner with excellent communication skills and the ability to focus clients and internal team members on the right effort. Primary responsibilities include serving as the primary day-to-day client lead, supporting the account director and entire team on key initiatives, leading cross-functional agency collaboration, client presentation development and coordination, internal leadership and ownership of final client deliverables (across planning, activation and measurement).

You Will:

  • Be the go-to, day-to-day client lead for your clients – when they need anything, they will think of you (well mostly just for marketing stuff)

  • Develop ongoing partnerships with clients, internal cross-functional teams and vendors (this is Mosaic’s secret sauce and why our clients are always asking for more)

  • Be seen as credible voice on behalf of the agency and as a dynamic champion of our work

  • Mentor and develop junior team members – whether they report to you or not – and be the example for them to aspire to become (this role will have direct reports)

  • Be the champion of extraordinary work and agency culture – by providing inspiration, leadership and expertise in Mosaic’s agency offerings

  • Manage the profitability of work – be cost-conscious of account expenses and alert to opportunities for growth in other project assignments (this role will directly contribute to the financial success of the organization)

  • Be a good internal partner – know when to ask for help from our amazing cross-functional agency counterparts who know how to do it best

Qualifications

What you Bring:

  • Experience working across a variety of client business and with an array of cross-functional agency units

  • 5 year track record of success and increasing responsibility in an agency or client environment (at least some agency experience is critical)

  • An understanding of integrated marketing, with experience in shopper/commerce practices, including a deep understanding of retailer networks and programming (this role will work across most major grocery and mass retailers)

  • Ridiculously strong communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal

  • A passion for understanding client business challenges and an ability to rally internal teams to help solve

  • An insatiable curiosity combined with the ability to think critically translating into creativity (grounded in strategy) that can be applied to your client business day in and day out

  • Juggling skills. Seriously, you’ll be expected to keep a lot of balls in the air, with each progressing towards and on-target, on-time, and on-budget delivery

  • The self-awareness to know when to listen, when to speak and when you’ve said enough.

  • The self-confidence to sell what you believe in, and to own it when it goes south (and yes, this will happen) – you are the champion of the client and your team’s collective work

  • Exceptional problem-solving, time management skills and a keen attention to detail

  • A willingness to actively contribute to making our agency (and the universe) better
