Acosta Sales & Marketing Regional Field Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina

Overview

Reach have an exciting opportunity in managing field sales teams working in Wal-Mart, Target and Kroger retail outlets. The role of the Regional Field Manager will be to effectively manage a team of 10 Retail Representatives, whose responsibilities include influencing sales of product placements within the stores, fixing the retail issues and increasing the displays of our clients’ products in stores.

Due to an exciting growing partnership Reach are recruiting for a team who will be working with major retailers, driving sales across a variety of categories.

We are looking for candidates who have experience of man management. You will be an expert coach and leader, and be able to inspire, led and develop a team of Retail Representatives to deliver their regional KPI’s. You will be able to see the big picture and long term thinking at all times and overcome obstacles to achieve challenging objectives. Responsibilities

  • To professionally manage, direct and motivate a team of Retail Representatives

  • To successfully achieve team and individual targets/KPI’s

  • To enforce all agreed field performance standards, procedures and company policies throughout the field team

  • To ensure that the Retail Representatives professionally carry out the key functions and tasks as described in their job description

  • To work in conjunction with team to provide strategic direction to the account adding value and driving commercial development initiatives

Qualifications

  • FMCG sales or team management experience

  • Understanding of in-store processes within the grocery sector

  • Ability to plan and organise own workload

  • An excellent communicator at all levels – client, team and peers

  • IT literate with strong numeracy skills

  • Previous Field Sales experience is essential

  • Valid Driver’s Licence

  • A professional image is needed at all times

  • Must have flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage and be available for overnight stays on an infrequent basis

  • Must reside within territory boundaries
