Leadership Development Program Position Overview:
The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a full-time position that prepares you for a key cross-departmental role at Acosta. During the program, you’ll spend your first 18-months rotating through 3-5 Organization subgroups, which include Retail, Business Intelligence, Sales, Marketing, and more, before being placed in a home group that matches your interests and the company’s needs.
During each of your rotations, you’ll work to meet the program objectives through hands-on experience, executive mentorship, advanced industry exposure, and virtual and classroom leadership training, to ensure a 360° view of the organization upon graduation.
Responsibilities
Introductory Retail Field Execution Phase:
Engage as a Retail Coverage Merchandiser with experience as a Retail Business Manager and Retail Team Manager. Designed to advance knowledge and skills in:
CPG industry
Acosta foundational business and culture
Customer and client relationships
Fiscal year planning for in-store execution
In-store selling of client products
Self-leadership and supervisory management
Retail specific technology
Rotation 1- Headquarter Sales and Business Intelligence
Engage as a Corporate Analyst and Associate Business Manager. Designed to advance knowledge and skills in:
Collecting and analyzing syndicated scan data
Prioritizing requirements to act as a partner in headquarter-selling
Translating client and customer needs into practical business objectives
Presenting high impact strategic value to clients and customers
Managing, growing, and maximizing accounts
Fulfilling client and customer objectives related to sales, productivity, profitability, and marketing strategy
Data analysis for strategic selling and negotiating
Customer and client relationships
Rotation 2-Marketing: Engage as a Field Manager, Account Coordinator, Analyst and Account manager. Designed to advance knowledge and skills in:
Account Coordination and Execution of a large field Assisted Sales & Training programs
Field leadership and execution on a large technology Sales and Training program
Understanding how our Strategy and Creative teams work with our Client Service and Shopper teams on activations, Client pitches and events
Coordinating and assisting Client Services teams on execution of activations, programs, and live events.
Analytical Retail and GiS Insights, including specific Client KPIs
Understanding how Mosaic delivers a consultative approach and ROI back to the client
Rotation 3-Additional Rotation: Candidate Specific
Role to be fulfilled within a predetermined function (Potential to change based on strengths and interests).
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales or Business preferred but not required; Minimum GPA: 3.25
