ActionLink has a new seasonal opportunity for someone to join our Computer Promoter Team!We are seeking an engaging, tech-savvy individual who will enjoy creating a world-class service environment inside metro area Walmart and Best Buy stores. This role represents our client, Intel®, by showcasing their latest core processing hardware and system enhancing technologies. The Intel Brand Specialist's primary responsibilities include commuting to multiple big-box retailers to provide strategic sales support for electronic devices, in-store product training and knowledge sharing, and PC display set-up/installation.


  • This is a seasonal promotional program running October through December 2022

  • 32-40 hours per week

  • 11:00AM - 7:00PM on Saturdays & Sundays at the Best Buy located at 457 120TH AVE NE Bellevue WA 98005 US

  • 16 (or more) hours completed between Mondays-Fridays installing computer software uploads in big box retailers

  • Consultative Sales Support

  • Build strong relationships and rapport with retailer customers and personnel

  • Provide trainings to store associates on the various products and technologies.

  • Identify customers’ needs and recommend appropriate Intel computer products and services.

  • Proactively engage customers throughout the sales process, from greeting to closing of the sale.

  • Process sales/purchases on Best Buy’s POS system – no cash handling involved.

  • Technical Merchandising Support

  • Travel within assigned field territory for store visits.

  • Troubleshoot Intel PC displays to ensure they are updated and fully functional with the latest IPOS Software

  • Complete routine maintenance tasks to ensure the latest Intel IPOS software is functional and running

  • Submit online survey reports to document visits, including digital photos or completed work.

  • Successfully execute work independently and/or as a team.

  • Manage acceptance and scheduling of work to ensure timely completion.


  • Sales and/or relevant technical computer support experience

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills

  • Available to work 11am-7pm on weekends plus flexible weekday hours

  • Must have valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation

  • Must be willing to drive throughout market on a regular basis

  • Physically able to stand for extended periods of time

  • Access to a smart device for reporting
