Acosta Sales & Marketing Compensation Analyst in Jacksonville, Florida

Overview:

The incumbent interfaces with all associate levels and provides compensation expertise to the HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Organizational Development teams. This position has responsibility for process interface with Shared Services, providing internal equity review, and exception analysis. This position is responsible for developing new positions as needed, and maintaining the position description library. The incumbent is responsible for market pricing positions, participating in salary surveys, assisting in the administration of the merit and bonus process, and providing standard and ad hoc reports as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary “process interface” between Shared Services and Compensation. This involves establishing and maintaining compensation processing guidelines to be used in Shared Services. All incomplete, inaccurate paperwork as it applies to compensation must be routed to this position for resolution. In turn this may require interfacing with originating management to resolve concern, and providing Shared Services with appropriate information for processing.

  • Analyzes compensation data; identifies trends or gaps and makes recommendations for resolution or improvement.

  • Assists Compensation Manager with activities related to mergers and acquisitions, i.e. job title mapping and grade/band assignment.

  • Serves as first-level customer service contact for Compensation for exempt and non-exempt issues.

  • Evaluates new positions and provides recommendations to Compensation Manager. Conveys information to HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team.

  • Responsible for job description library maintenance. Ensures consistent format, quality, and completeness. Every job title in the Company should have a corresponding job description. Maintains benchmark job description library on MyAcosta.

  • Establishes salary differentials annually to ensure that structures are current.

  • Conducts research to ensure compliance with federal and/or state mandates (Example: minimum wage compliance). Administer compensation policies to ensure consistency within organization and alignment with established policies and procedures.

  • Backup content provider for MyAcosta Compensation site. Designates appropriate access levels for secured information.

  • Assists Compensation Manager with geographic differentials ensuring consistent compensation approach to ACOSTA Canada and International associates.

  • Assists in the administration of the merit and bonus process.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in Human Resources with 5 + years experience in Compensation. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills a must.

  • Must be able to create graphic presentations of data analysis.

  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills required with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage sensitive information in a confidential manner.

  • Good verbal and written communications skills required.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

  • Experience with ADP, PeopleSoft or other major ERP applications
