Acosta Sales & Marketing Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist in Issaquah, Washington


The Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist is responsible for the daily maintenance and operation of the VMI Program at ADW Acosta. These duties include, but are not limited to: inventory review, evaluation of demand forecasting, assess inventory controls, and purchase order generation. In addition to these activities, the Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist will be required to maintain up to date records within the ADW Acosta database systems, including performing basic database maintenance. The Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist will also help develop and work with analysis of the inventory controls and supply chain processes currently being employed by clients/partners and Costco.


  • Inventory Review, Evaluation, Analysis and Planning

  • Evaluate Demand Forecasting

  • Purchase Order Generation and Release

  • Data Entry and Maintaining VMI Data Integrity

  • Database Maintenance and updates

  • Logistics Support

  • Communication with supplier of product, ADW business and support representatives, and Costco.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • 1+ years of Inventory Control or Purchase Order Experience

  • Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Experience Preferred

  • Microsoft Office Suite of Programs, CRM Experience, Database Experience,

  • Inventory Control Experience, Basic understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics,

  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills, Highly Detail Oriented, math skills,

  • Ability to Effectively Multi-task
