Acosta Sales & Marketing Business Manager Assistant Lead in Cincinnati, Ohio

Overview:

Coordinate all client and vendor-related processes for a specific retailer within a specific market or region.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage alerts and work with clients and buyers to resolve escalated issues.

  • Consult with clients on resolving escalated issues.

  • Obtain correct information on new and existing items for the entire pricing process.

  • Invoice past dues and issue new invoices as they are resolved.

  • Work in various Acosta systems to resolve invoice discrepancies

  • Update records of items.

  • Follow-up with clients to ensure correct transmissions.

  • Track products to ensure product ships correctly and to ensure correct specs (codes, location configurations etc.)

  • Assist the ABM and BM on product codes and other miscellaneous projects as needed.

  • May direct and coordinate individual team member’s work schedules to ensure proper coverage within the team. The Lead may coordinate team schedules and approve time-off requests.

  • Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to team members; providing them with guidance and being available to answer questions to clarify the work activities.

  • Assess the need for training/development and partner with the Supervisor to coordinate personal development activities.

  • May lead, Identify, assign, and follow‐up on work activities of team members under your supervision.

  • Facilitate team operations by discussions through the sharing of information and knowledge, identification of teamwork issues, development of problem‐solving recommendations, and recommendations of standardizing team operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Prior food brokerage experience as a Sales Support Associate is strongly preferred. Must have four years customer service experience. Some College preferred.

  • Must have advanced expertise in Word, Excel, presentation software and E-mail.

  • Must type at least 60 wpm.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with others.

  • Must present a professional image and be able to represent the company in a professional manner.
